Bloodwood

I won't find it again
It's called a once in a lifetime
Many trips down memory lane
I'll never lie to myself
And say
I want to go back
Again

I'll keep my nose
As short as it can be
I will not bluff
Bloody river come back

It's not a sacred temple
Where you have to barge in by force
But then there are still trapdoors
It's sunny today
Hidden are the grey clouds with no linings
Well they'll come back down, they always do
Again

Go on show me your expression's for real
It's not a secret I might never know
The fading moonlight reflects the varnish
Onto the mirror it blinds us all

So it rains
Don't get me wet
Or I'll start to rot
I'll never have a heart again.
